Kent name 12-strong squad for opening T20s v Berkshire & Lancashire

Kent begin their NatWest Women's T20 season at Wokingham with a double-header against Berkshire and Lancashire.

Tammy Beaumont and Laura Marsh are away on England duty so 20-year-old batsman Lottie Bryan and all-rounder Emily Thompson, 18, join the squad.

Kent are one of eight sides in the Division One, having missed out on net run rate to champions Sussex and runners-up Yorkshire.

Kent squad: 23 Charlotte Edwards (c), 20 Lydia Greenway, 19 Suzie Bates, 24 Alice Davidson Richards, 9 Lottie Bryan, 14 Lauren Griffiths (w), 17 Emily Thompson, 53 Tash Farrant, 8 Charlotte Pape, 6 Megan Belt, 10 Phoebe Franklin, 11 Jenni Jackson.
