Kent replant lime tree on St Lawrence Ground outfield… APRIL FOOL!

As part of the redevelopment plans at the St Lawrence Ground Kent County Cricket Club has transplanted a mature lime tree on the hospital side of the ground.

A Club spokesmancommented: " it has been a desire to see the return of a full sized Lime tree to the outfield of the St Lawrence. With the latest arboreal technology we have been able to achieve it. A crane moved the tree into position late yesterday. A proud moment for the Club."
