Kent seconds draw their latest Championship match

KENT remain unbeaten in the Second Eleven Championship after drawing their latest match with Northants at King“s School in Canterbury.

Northants declared their second innings on 256 for eight to set Kent a victory target of 255 from a minimum of 48 overs. Matt Coles (pictured) was the pick of the Kent attack with figures of five for 48.

Alex Blake, who scored 113 in the first innings, top-scored for Kent second time around. The all-rounder hit 86 as Kent reached 182 for seven when the two skippers shook hands on the draw.

Kent take ten points from the game and remain undefeated in the Championship. They return to Second Eleven Trophy action on Tuesday when they play Sussex at The St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury. All are welcome so please try and get along to the game if you can.
