KIDS FOR A QUID* – KENT SPITFIRES V SURREY BROWNCAPS

KIDS, COME AND ENJOY YOUR LAST TREAT OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT OUR BIG FLOODLIT FIXTURE ON THURSDAY 27th AUGUST.

As we head towards the business end of the season, Kent County Cricket Club would like to thank all of our members and supporters and help encourage the next generation of Spitfires support! Our attention now turns to our next home match, as the Kent Spitfires take on our old rivals Surrey BrownCaps, in the NatWest Pro40, on the hallowed turf of the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury on Thursday, 27 August at 4.40pm.

With a special Kids for a Quid promotion running for the day, all children under 18* can gain entrance to the ground for the princely sum of just £1. Please note Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).

Not only that, but it will also be a Family Fun Day, with lots of entertainment laid on for our younger supporters!
With a bouncy castle and a face painter, there will be lots to keep the little ones happy. You can also bring your own bat and ball and live out your own Ashes series all around the ground! Ever fancied being a dancer or the next singing superstar? Well, here“s the place to see it all happen. Singer Charlie Francis and the Da Capo Dancers will be with us on the day to help further improve your enjoyment factor.

Kent still have a good chance of winning two trophies this season; the LV County Championship and the NatWest Pro40. With so much to play for, do you really want to miss out and not join us for this ‘cheap as chips“ day? No, we didn“t think so! It“s the perfect opportunity to treat your children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces; even the kid“s next door or down the road.
