Kent Women named in England Women’s Academy Squad

Men’s First Team

Kent women's cricketers, Alice Davidson-Richards, Grace Gibbs and Tammy Beaumont have all been named in an England Women's Academy squad to play Pakistan women.

The squad will take part in two Twenty20 games and one 50-over match against Pakistan women at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough University on June 27 and 29 respectively.

Pakistan women will then play two NatWest Women's one-day internationals and two NatWest Women's International T20 matches versus England Women, whose squad was also announced this week and includes Kent’s Charlotte Edwards (captain), Lydia Greenway and Natasha Farrant.

Jason Weaver, Kent Cricket High Performance Manager commented on the announcement; “It’s fantastic to see so many Kent players selected for the England squads. We wish them every success which they all thoroughly deserve."
