Kent Women kick off their 2012 campaign with two 50 over matches at the St Lawrence Ground this Bank Holiday weekend. Kent Women face Yorkshire on Sunday 6th May and Middlesex on Monday 7th May.

Led by Charlotte Edwards, Kent Women's team includes five of the current England Women's squad, who recently returned from a successful one-day series in New Zealand – Lydia Greenway, Tammy Beaumont, Laura Marsh and Susie Rowe.

Kent Women had a spectacular 2011 season – they were unbeaten throughout the County Championship campaign and also won the national T20 competition.

Both matches are scheduled to start at 11am and entry is free. The Chiesman Pavilion and bar will be open for both matches, along with the new Sainsbury's convenience store which is open on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
