Tammy Beaumont leads a 14-strong squad to face Lancashire and Yorkshire in a Bank Holiday double-header at The Spitfire Ground on Sunday and Monday (28 and 29 May, 11am).

Fresh from her England call-up this week, the Kent opener is looking to ramp up her preparations for next month’s Women’s World Cup.

Kent start the weekend in third place with matches against fourth-ranked Lancashire and second-placed Yorkshire.

Head coach Lydia Greenway said: “After a brilliant win last weekend it is extremely important we keep pushing on.

“It was a great win but we have now got two very important games so we have to arrive fully switched on and ready to go both physically and mentally.

“As we all know there are still lots of areas to improve on which is brilliant, we need to keep challenging ourselves.”
