Kent’s Adam Ball takes six wickets on opening day Down Under

KENT all-rounder Adam Ball impressed in his opening game as the overseas player for Redlands Tigers in Australia.
Playing in the Queensland Premier Grade competition, the 21-year-old grabbed six Gold Coast Dolphins wickets after his captain won the toss and elected to field.
Opening the bowling, the left-arm bowler ended with six for 32 off 12.2 overs, dismissing the hosts for exactly 100 runs.
In reply, Redlands made 109 for seven declared with Ball making a patient 19 off 52 balls before being bowled by Jack Stanlake.
The talented Greenwich-born all-rounder recently signed an extension to his Kent Cricket contract.
