Kuhn celebrates domestic double

Heino Kuhn top-scored in each innings as Titans defeated Knights by four wickets to clinch the South African provincial first-class title to complete a domestic double.

With innings of 86 and 43, the former South Africa Test batsman inspired the hosts to a fairytale finish to the season with victory at Centurion.

After winning a third consecutive T20 Challenge title in December 2017, Kuhn celebrated his 15th trophy in 13 seasons at Titans: a sixth first-class trophy joining four one-day cups and five T20 titles since his debut in 2005.

Against a strong Knights attack featuring Test-capped pacemen Marchant de Lange, Ryan McLaren and Duanne Olivier, Kuhn helped Titans to a 100-run lead as both sides batted for 40 overs in the first innings before leading the chase of 112 which was wrapped up with 34.3 overs to spare.
