Listen to commentary of the game from Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells

Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells is pleased to announce that cricket fans will once again be able to enjoy ball-by-ball coverage of the Tunbridge Wells Cricket Week taking place at the Nevill Ground in Royal Tunbridge Wells, starting on Friday June 4th. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Cricket Club have teamed up to sponsor the online coverage of the event. Cricket Fans can log in and listen to the coverage at www.hrtw.org.uk by clicking on the “Listen Live” button.

The special programmes will be heard by patients in the Kent and Sussex and Tonbridge Cottage hospitals and for the fifth year will be made available to cricket fans via our website, thanks to the support of the local council and the county cricket club.

Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells Station Manager, Chris Manser said: ‘We“re extremely pleased and excited that Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Cricket Club have teamed up to support us again this year. In the five years we have been providing this service to cricket fans we have seen the number of people listening to our output steadily growing and have received very positive feedback on the professionalism shown by our commentary team“.

The Hospital Radio team have been given a prime location in the Pavilion to watch the game and provide the ball-by-ball commentary. Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells presenters Chris Woodward, Chris Reed and Tim Godsalve, will be joined by Jamie Clifford and Alex Killick from Canterbury, during the commentary at the Nevill Ground.

There will be coverage of the 4 day match between Kent and Nottinghamshire from June 4th with coverage starting at 10.30am each day of play and from 5pm on June 9th for the Twenty 20 game between Kent and Sussex, until the close of play each day.
