The Horses will be looking for a victory after rain curtailed a result at The Spitfire Ground, two years ago, & a three-wicket defeat at The Cloud County Ground last year.


Matchday Information

Entry to the Battle of the Bridge is FREE for all valid 2023 Kent Members, with entry gained by scanning their 2023 Kent Membership card at the gate. Non-members are able to gain entry at £5 for adults or FREE for under-15s both at the gate & online in advance.

With entrance via the Kennedy Gates next to Sainsbury’s, the bar in the Chiesman Pavilion will be open for all to use throughout the night, with the match starting at 18:00 (Toss at 17:30).

First-come-first-serve complimentary parking is also available, for this fixture only, for spectators – entrance via the vehicle entrance on Old Dover Road.

The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence is located approximately a mile from the historic Cathedral City Centre of Canterbury.

Women’s Head Coach has named a strong Matchday Squad for the Battle of the Bridge, with experienced players & players with international experience included.

Megan Belt will lead the Horses, with Megan Sturge confirmed to be taking the gloves under the lights at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.

Three players that featured in the first ever Women’s U19 World Cup – Grace Scrivens, Alexa Stonehouse & Darcey Carter, are all included.

Capped Kent Women player Charlotte Pape has made herself available for selection once more, after last featuring for the Horses in 2017.
