Over 50s go free to Kent Cricket, thanks to Saga Holidays

Thursday 12th June 2014

Thanks to the success of the 2013 partnership between Saga Holidays and Kent County Cricket Club, the over 50s are in for another bonus day in 2014. Day One, Sunday 22 June, of the Kent LV County Championship match against Derbyshire at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury is going to an over 50’s free day, thanks to an innovative partnership between the Club and over 50s specialists Saga.

Rather than paying £12 to enjoy six hours of traditional cricket, all the over 50s will need to do is print off a ticket from the website or fill out a form on arrival.

The match will be the final piece of a partnership which has included Saga customers being offered special Membership options at Kent Cricket.

Paul Green, Director of Communications, Saga, said: “Last year's match sponsor was a great success. We're keen again this year to offer another free day at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury”

Kent Cricket CEO, Jamie Clifford, was enthusiastic about the partnership with Saga. ‘They are one of Kent’s most successful business’s, working with an age group that is very important to the Club, when it comes to County Championship cricket. We were delighted to have the partnership put in place and look forward to working closely with Saga in future years.’
