Taking to social media, Kent Women’s Head Coach, Dave Hathrill, said: “So exceptionally proud of Scriv seeing how she has developed through the pathway at Kent Cricket.

“She is so deserving of this opportunity and to have been able to play a small part in her journey is an honour.

“I have no doubt that she will smash it, bring it home!”

Scrivens will skipper her Kent teammates, Ryana MacDonald-Gay & Alexa Stonehouse, with Kent Women legend Laura Marsh a part of the coaching setup.

The England team travelled to South Africa this past week, & will kick-off the tournament against Zimbabwe this Sunday.
