Spitfires in South Africa: Ball five-for, Dickson hits 2nd straight 50

All-rounder Adam Ball continued his fine winter form with the ball by taking 5/18 in 11 overs for Claremont.

The left-armer, who turns 23 next month, bowled with pace and control to help dismiss Tygerberg for 115 in the Western Province two-day league.

Sean Dickson hit his second successive unbeaten half-century for Pretoria High School Old Boys.

The 24-year-old hit four boundaries and two sixes in his match-winning 61-ball knock as they beat Police in the Northerns Senior Club League by six wickets.

Elsewhere in South Africa, Calum Haggett scored 36 not out for Avendale against the University of Cape Town on day one of a two-day match.

Meanwhile, wicketkeeper Adam Rouse took two catches for Cape Town in a two-day game against Altius.
