Sam Northeast names an unchanged squad with all-rounder Will Gidman set for his debut in the NatWest T20 Blast following a comprehensive win at Hampshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old joined on a month’s loan from Nottinghamshire last weekend to cover injuries to Fabian Cowdrey and Calum Haggett.

The left-handed batsman and right-arm seamer said: “I’m looking forward to spend some time in the middle. The squad is great bunch of lads and have helped me settle in nicely.

“I pride myself in offering something in all facets of the game and contribute to the side with my batting, bowling or fielding.

“It’s an exciting time to come in and I hope I can help the lads out and compete in all forms.”
