Beaumont joins her county captain Charlotte Edwards at Adelaide Strikers in the women’s competition which starts on Saturday 10 December.

The 25-year-old Dover-born batsman said: “I’m very excited to be joining the Strikers and can’t wait to join up with the squad next week.

“I'm especially looking forward to meeting the squad and playing with Charlotte Edwards again, as well as Sophie Devine, Megan Schutt, Sarah Coyte and the others for the first time.

“Having visited Adelaide before I'm excited to get back to the city, especially for our games at the Adelaide Oval.”
