World Cup Players in Kent line up for Worcestershire LV= County Championship Match

England’s James Tredwell and Australia’s Doug Bollinger have both gone straight into the Kent team, having recently returned from the ICC World 2020 Cup in Bangladesh, in the County’s opening LV= County Championship match at the County Ground, Worcester.
In naming his first competition 12, coach Jimmy Adams has been be able have the batting stability that performed well for him last year, but with a significantly different bowling attack. Eight of his number played the final, victorious, match of the 2013 season against Lancashire. He did, also, have limitations due to injuries to bowlers Mark Davies and Calum Haggett. The four new bowlers for 2014 are Bollinger, along with fellow Australian Mitch Claydon, now in the Kent Squad fulltime, the returned Robbie Joseph and new recruit Charlie Hartley. ‘The pre-season has gone well and we are now all looking forward to getting into competition,’ stated Adams. ‘There is a sense of excitement and we head off on what is a challenging season.’
The match begins 11am Sunday 13 April, with the team heading north tomorrow. The full team is:
