Zak Crawley plays in MCC Schools win at Lord’s

Tuesday 8th September 2015

Academy scholar Zak Crawley played for MCC Schools as they defeated a English Schools Cricket Association XI at Lord's with a ball to spare.

The 17-year-old from Bromley (pictured above, left) hit 23 before being run out as the MCC side passed the ESCA team's total of 219 off the penultimate ball of 100 overs of keenly fought cricket.

The Tonbridge School pupil was selected after a strong summer which included his maiden second XI hundred and selection for the London and East U17 regional squad of the England Development Programme.
