Sasha has been a Kent supporter since 1975 and is a member of the Kent Cricket Century Club. His mother was born and brought up in Bromley.

He plays cricket for Primrose Hill CC in London and Aston Rowant CC in Oxfordshire. He is the current Chair of the Home Counties Premier Cricket League.

He is also a Non-Executive Director of the Professional Cricketers Association.

He is a practising Kings Counsel specialising in Town and Country Planning and is a member of Landmark Chambers in London and is the Head of their Planning Group of barristers.
