James Tredwell takes three wickets for MCC v Yorkshire

James Tredwell was the pick of the bowlers as MCC dismissed Yorkshire for 275 in the Champion County match in Abu Dhabi.
The Kent off-spinner removed captain Andrew Gale, Jack Leaning and Tim Bresnan either side of lunch in an excellent early spell.
Tredwell ended with 3-53 off 25 overs as the Yorkshire middle order struggled to score before Gary Balance’s 105 sparked a recovery as part of a 125-run sixth-wicket stand with Will Rhodes (95).
Graham Onions, Jake Ball and Rikki Clarke took two wickets apiece with Samit Patel taking the other as they dismissed the reigning county champions in 92.2 overs.
James Harris saw off a maiden over before stumps on day one.
