Kent squad to play Gloucestershire

Paceman Matt Hunn is included in Kent's squad for Specsavers County Championship match against Gloucestershire on Sunday at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.

The 22-year-old seamer could make his first start of the season with Matt Coles serving a two-match ban after accruing penalty points against Glamorgan earlier this week.

Batsman Alex Blake also returns to the squad in place of Sean Dickson, who has sustained a hand injury.

Captain Sam Northeast says every place is up for grabs with 26 players registered for first XI cricket this season.

"We have got a lot of youngsters bidding for spots and we have a big squad and no place is safe.

"It's something we've been building over the last few years and we have got a lot of players coming through pressurising the first team. Selection is pretty tough at the moment and everyone is playing for their place.

"We have a very good side and if we play our best cricket we are in with a shout of winning every game we play."
