KIMS Hospital to sponsor Academy programme

The award-winning Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery (KIMS) Hospital is the new sponsor of the Kent Cricket Academy programme.

Kent Cricket’s official Private Hospital Partner near Maidstone, off junction 7 of the M20 motorway, will supply the Kent squads with scans, screening and treatment.

The facility has 72 en-suite bedroom and 20 daycare beds as well as 17 consultation suites.

Mark Griffiths, Commercial Director, KIMS Hospital, said: “As the largest independent hospital in Kent, we have an important role to play in supporting the health and wellbeing needs of our local community.

“This includes our sportsmen and women and we are delighted to be working with the fantastic physiotherapists at Kent Cricket.

“By providing access to our services and facilities in the heart of the county, we can support Kent Cricket’s physiotherapists maintain the fitness and health of their teams and academy scholars throughout the season on their doorstep.”
