Kent name squad ahead of home t20 match against Essex Eagles

Kent Spitfires face Essex Eagles tonight in a crucial home Friends Life t20 match at the St Lawrence Ground. The Spitfires’ Martin Van Jaarsveld will be absent from the squad, having sustained a hand injury in Thursday night’s match. Van Jaarsveld received three stitches at Southampton Hospital, having split the webbing between his thumb and index finger and will be absent from the squad for the next week.

Tonight’s match is crucial for the Spitfires as they strive for a place in the Friends Life t20 quarter finals. Kent Spitfires and Essex Eagles are both in contention for a place, so tonight’s match is not to be missed. Kent Spitfires are on good form,having won their last three home matches.
