Job Vacancy: Pathways Strength & Conditioning Coach

Applications are invited for the position of Pathways Strength & Conditioning Coach at Kent Cricket.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the physical development of cricketers selected in both the Kent Cricket Pathway Age Group squads and Academy.

The successful candidate will provide ‘S&C’ support in educating players and skills coaches in the importance of strength and conditioning, and the expected levels of physical fitness for athletes when graduating to first team level.

Kent Cricket are looking for a candidate who is personable and professional in conjunction with looking to develop themselves as a strength and conditioning coach.

The role will require the successful candidate to be able to communicate meaningful information to players, parents and coaches. They should show competency in communicating technical models of coaching, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation whilst being open-minded and contributing to ideas from other team members.

The successful candidate will find enjoyment from hands-on coaching in both individual and group sessions and be comfortable adapting to an often-fluid environment.

They will be committed to continued professional development, and integrating with other strength and conditioning coaches, particularly across English cricket.
