Tammy Beaumont hits maiden ODI ton as England win Pakistan series

Kent opener Tammy Beaumont scored her maiden one-day international century as they wrapped up a 212-run win to secure the Royal London series at Worcester.
The Dover-born Kent Cricket Academy graduate reached three figures in a fine 116-ball innings, scoring ten fours and two sixes in a 235-run opening stand in 38.3 overs with Yorkshire’s Lauren Winfield, the third highest of all time for England women in ODIs.
The duo shared the Player of the Match Award and Beaumont said: "We both went to Loughborough University so we know each other's games inside out."
Surrey all-rounder Nat Sciver smashes six maximums as she recorded England’s fastest one-day 50 off 21 balls on the way to 80 as the middle order all scored at quicker than a run a ball.
England’s line-up cleared the ropes eleven times in a record ODI total that Pakistan did not threaten.
Scoreboard pressure was too much for the tourists with Danni Wyatt running out Nahida Khan in the first over, the first of two by the recent Sussex signing.
Vice-captain Anya Shrubsole removed Sidra Ameen in the sixth over before returning to wrap up the tail and take 4/19 in 8.4 overs.
Fellow new-ball Katherine Brunt claimed 2/27 from ten overs and Kent’s Laura Marsh found some turn in 0/27 from seven overs.
The third and final ODI against Pakistan takes place at Taunton on Monday at 10.30am with points at stake for the ICC Women’s Championship.
England sit third in the table with a match in hand on Australia and West Indies.
