Australian triallist top scores against Middlesex for second team

Australian triallist Andrew Michael top scored on the opening day of Kent“s second eleven championship match with Middlesex at King“s School, Canterbury.

The batsman scored 59 in Kent“s first innings total of 217. Academy wicketkeeper Sam Billings, playing as a specialist batsman, was also in the runs. He weighed in with 59.

In reply, Middlesex reached 119-2 at stumps.
