The right-hander features in the world governing body of cricket’s Teams of the Year for both Women’s IT20 and ODI cricket following home series against India and New Zealand in 2021 across both formats.

Beaumont’s 2021 finished with  a second ton on her home ground of The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence as England romped to 347/5 – their sixth-highest ODI total – against New Zealand in September.

Her 102 at Canterbury followed ODI scores of 87* and 66 against India in successive matches in June.

Dover-born Beaumont’s ODI performances were matched by her form in International T20 cricket, earning her not only her spot in the ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year, but the ICC’s Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award outright for the first time in her career.

She made 97 from only 65 deliveries opening the batting against New Zealand in September, and hit 59 against India at Hove in July.

Beaumont has now featured in the ICC’s Women’s ODI Team of the Year in every edition since its inception in 2017, and now has her first IT20 Team of the Year accolade.

Her performances for 2021 came off the back of being named the PCA England Women ODI MVP for Winter 2020/21 after her side claimed a 2-1 series victory over New Zealand in the 50-over format, finishing as Player of the Series.
