Blake hits century for the seconds down at Hove

All-rounder Alex Blake (pictured) scored a fine century for Kent in their second XI Championship match against Sussex at Hove.

Blake scored 126 and shared in a stand of 142 for the third wicket with James Goodman (63) as Kent declared their first innings on 251-8 – a lead of 40.

Sussex then reached 140-3 in their second innings to lead by 180 going into the third day.
