Bryan Adams concert cancelled

Thursday 27th May 2021

AEG Presents, the promoters of Bryan Adams at The Spitfire Ground in Canterbury, have today confirmed that the concert, which was due to take place on Friday 8 July, 2021 has been cancelled due to the on-going impact of the pandemic.

Whilst An Evening with Michael Bublé – which was set to take place across the same weekend in July – has already been rescheduled and will now take place at The Spitfire Ground on Sunday 24th July 2022, it has not been possible to secure an alternative date next summer for the Bryan Adams show.

A statement from AEG Presents reads: “Unfortunately despite best efforts some shows have had to be cancelled due to scheduling issues. Tickets will be refunded automatically, but if you have any queries please contact your point of purchase.”

Kent Cricket’s CEO, Simon Storey, said: “We had already decided to switch our LV= Insurance County Championship match against Sussex back to Canterbury after AEG Presents indicated that both artists were set to reschedule their tours.

“Whilst we can look forward to Michael Bublé visiting Canterbury next summer, we were one of three venues on the Bryan Adams tour where, despite everyone’s best efforts, it was not possible to reschedule the show in 2022.

“Those fans who have purchased tickets for the Bryan Adams concert will be refunded by the promoter automatically. Kent Cricket Hospitality ticket holders will be contacted by the Club by the end of this week to confirm how to claim a refund.”
