Canterbury’s premier Fireworks Evening for 2023 *SOLD OUT*

Kent Cricket is excited to announce that Canterbury’s spectacular fireworks display & fun-filled family evening will return once again to The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury on Sunday 5 November 2023, in partnership with Match Bingo.

This event has become one of the biggest & best fireworks displays in Canterbury, and returns this year with a Fun Fair & live entertainment throughout the evening, with a backdrop of one of England’s first-class cricket grounds.

Gates will open at The Spitfire Ground at 16:30, when all the fun of the fair begins. Garry & Chelsea from the kmfm Breakfast Show will be hosting the event, with premium party band ‘FNKHAUS’ set to entertain the crowd as they perform the biggest dance floor fillers & party anthems, as they countdown to the fireworks display at 19:15.

This event is now sold out – no tickets will be available to purchase at the gate.

Tickets for the first International T20 match to be held at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence for 12 years are now on general sale!

International T20 cricket will return to Canterbury on Thursday 11 July 2024 when The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence hosts the 3rd match in England’s IT20 series against New Zealand.

It is only the second time that Canterbury has hosted a Women’s International T20 match in its long history, and will be another boost for the continued growth of women’s cricket in Kent.
