The two sides have been confirmed for Saturday“s big charity match between a Chris Cowdrey XI and a Stage XI at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury.

Chris Cowdrey XI

Chris Cowdrey (captain) – Former Kent & England captain.

David Fulton – Former Kent captain, now a Sky TV reporter.

Neil Taylor – Long serving former Kent batsman.

Steve Marsh – Former Kent captain and wicketkeeper.

Vince Wells – Former Kent and England all-rounder.

Julius Cowdrey – son of Chris and a regular in the Tonbridge School First XI.

John Warnett – BBC Radio Kent presenter and enthusiastic club cricketer.

Nigel Llong – Former Kent all-rounder who joined the ECB Panel of International Umpires in 2005.

Martin Saggers– Former Kent and England fast-bowler.

Robbie Joseph – Current Kent fast-bowler.

Nick Kemp – Former Kent and Middlesex bowler.

Stage XI

Will Chitty (captain) – Starred in Eastenders and the Bill.

Owen Oldroyd (vice captain) – Star of West End“s Blood Brothers.

Tristan Gemmill – Adam Trueman, Star of BBC“s Casualty.

Dean Chisnall – Currently appearing in the West End, Andrew Lloyd Webber“s Love Never Dies.

Richard Durden – A film and TV regular.

Michael Lumsden – A star of the Archers.

Mike Sadler – A West End regular.

Gordon Kennedy – A star of BBC“s Casualty.

Trevor Lock – A stand up comedian.

Michael Simkins – Actor and author of Fatty Batter and what“s My Motivation.

Actors Brian Jackson, Stage Cricket Club Chairman, (the original Man from Del Monte) and Edmund Pegge (BBC TV“s Tenko and Dr. Who) will be taking out the drinks.

Tickets are now only available on the gate. The price: £10 for adult Kent members, £15 for adults and £1 for juniors under the age of 16.
