Ashford School ‘Outdoor Eights’ Double Champions

The Outdoor Eights is a competitive softball cricket competition for both U13 and U15 Girls’ age groups, open to all secondary schools. For 2023, Ashford School have become County Champions in both age groups.

Kent Cricket ran an East and West regional cluster for each age group in term 6, leading to the County Finals hosted at The Mote Cricket Club in Maidstone. Close to 30 schools participated this year with Helen Fagg, our Women’s & Girls’ Community Cricket Manager stating, “The Outdoor Eights is the competitive softball cricket offer and it proved to be so. Congratulations to Ashford School for continuing their recent winning streak and coming out top in both age groups”.

A huge thanks must go to all participating students and to all the venues and teachers who made these events possible.

Indoor School’s Girls’ Competition Dates for 2024 will be released to schools during Term 1 for registration.
