ECB Core Coach to include Female-Only Group option

This April, Kent Cricket are trialing the offer of a female only group as part of a ECB Core Coach Course, tutored by a female but sitting within a standard mixed course.
This particular ECB Core Coach course will be run at St Augustine’s Academy in Maidstone and is now open for registration. This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead player-centred coaching sessions and an ECB Core Coach will be qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.
The course takes place on the dates and times below. Learners MUST attend all sessions AND complete e-Learning modules, Safeguarding training and an ECB DBS Check to complete the course and gain certification.

You must be 17+ by the first date of the course to attend. Female applicants are encouraged to attend this course if they prefer a female only group as a learning environment.
Those female applicants wishing to book a space on the course are also welcome to apply for one of the 2024 Coaching Bursaries funded by the England & Wales Cricket Trust that aim to increase the diversity of coaches at our clubs. Female coaches are eligible for up to 50% of the price of a course via a bursary application. Find out more and apply for a bursary here.
