Free Girls Dynamos Programmes for Clubs

Clubs in Kent looking to grow a girls’ cricket section are being offered free spaces for a girls only Dynamos programme this coming year.

Dynamos Cricket provides girls from 8-11 years old with multiple sessions of non-stop fun. Each week there will be a focus on a different fundamental movement/cricket skill to build confidence and ability, with the opportunity to test these out in a game of Countdown Cricket. This fun programme helps to grow girls love of the game and gives them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.

The ECB and Kent Cricket are offering to work with both primary schools and cricket clubs to provide a voucher code for participants to enter at registration for their free place (usually £40).

In addition to this, all female only Dynamos Centres in Kent, will this year be entered into a draw to be the Guard of Honour at a South East Stars double-header. As part of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, the South East Stars will play Central Sparks in Canterbury this June before the Kent Men continue their T20 Blast Campaign. The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence will play host to this women’s fixture from 11:30am and one lucky girls’ Dynamos centre from Kent will form the Guard of Honour.
