Free Female Only Stage One Umpire Course

Kent Cricket are excited to announce our first ever Female Only Stage One Umpire Course is taking place in February next year and is FREE for those in the women’s & girls’ cricket network.
On Sunday 19th February 2023, the face to face course will take place at the Addington Village Hall in West Malling, from 10am to 5pm and is exclusively for females keen for some umpire training.
This Stage One Umpire Course is designed to give an overview of the basic laws of the game, how to apply them and introduce the principles of field craft and match management. It will give you the tools to enable you to umpire recreational matches, where there are no independent umpires appointed.
Kent Cricket will cover the entire £30 course cost for any female over the age of 16yrs from the women’s and girls’ cricket network who wishes to take this course. People booking onto the course can use the following code which will reduce the total payable from £30 to £0.

This discount will not affect the standard ACO discount for Stage Two, which means that any attendee will still be able to go on to Stage Two for just £10.
