Kent College Retain Girl’s Hardball Title

Thursday 15th July 2021

Kent College have retained their title by winning the Kent Cricket U15 Girl’s Schools Hardball Competition for 2021.

Since its inception in 2017, Kent College have been hugely successful in the competition, winning every County Final run to date. This year was no different, Kent College overcoming Sutton Valence in an entertaining final played at The Mote Cricket Club.

The competition had seen two regional clusters preceding the finals, one hosted at Colfes school which saw Bromley High and Chislehurst & Sidcup progress and the other, again at The Mote, with Kent College and Sutton Valence completing the four finalists.

On the day of the Finals, Bromley High couldn’t quite sneak past the 87 runs Sutton Valence set and Kent College beat Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar by setting a mammoth total of 158 runs off 15 overs.

We’d like to congratulate all teams involved for their superb participation and thank the host venues and umpires for supporting the competition.
