Kent Under 11 Girls in awe of Wilson

Our U11 Girls were recently lucky enough to have some time with England International and Kent Women’s player, Fran Wilson. Before embarking on her upcoming England Tour to New Zealand, the international batter had some spare time to dedicate to a Question and Answer session with our youngest age group.

The girls made the most of the time they had, asking a multitude of questions of various topics such as “What advice would you give your 11 year old self?”, “Was it difficult getting all your homework done amongst all your sporting commitments” and “How has the lockdown affected your training regime and how have you looked to adapt?”.

The young cricketers listened eagerly to the answers, absorbing every word from one of their cricket idols. Fran even had some questions for them, as the call became a very healthy discussion.

Many thanks to Fran for giving up her time, we are sure it will have a motivational and lasting impact on the girls as they look forward to starting their winter training sessions, as soon as is possible.
