New Umpire Open Day

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to take the best seat in the house then this event is is for you!

On Sunday July 30th, Kent Cricket and the Kent Association of Cricket Officials are hosting a New Umpire Open Day at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.
The day will start at 10am and will feature a presentation by Martin Seguss, the Chair of the Kent Cricket League Panel, who will cover topics including umpiring in Kent, the ACO & Kent Panel and how to take your first steps in to umpiring. It promises to be a very interactive session with plenty of opportunities for questions and answers.
There will also be a pitch inspection lead by Kent’s Head of Grounds, Adrian Llong, where you will learn more about match pitches, inspection and markings.

Lunch will be provided at 1pm alongside the start of play in the Australia 70+ vs Kent 70+ match and after lunch, attendees are very welcome to stay at the ground and enjoy the cricket!

The day is free to attend, but you will need to register a place.
