‘Keeper-batter Cox was purchased for ZAR 350k by Sunrisers Eastern Cape, owned by the IPL’s Sunrisers Hyderabad, & will play alongside compatriots Mason Crane, Adam Rossington, Brydon Carse & Tom Abell.

The first edition of the tournament is scheduled to take place between January & February 2023, with six teams based in various South African cities, competing in a tournament that will not clash with the English domestic Summer.
