Daniel Bell-Drummond joins Spitfires VI squad training session

Kent and England Lions batsman Daniel Bell-Drummond joined Kent Spitfires' visually impaired squad at The County Ground, Beckenham as part of their pre-season preparations.

The 22-year-old made a surprise visit to the new facility and took part in a session after a winter away with England Lions in Dubai.

Disability cricket lead coach Dom Taylor said: "The team was so pleased that Daniel came along. It was inspiring for the lads, particularly the bowler that got Daniel out."

The visually impaired squad train on Saturdays and the learning/physical disability squad train on Sundays. For more details, e-mail dom.taylor.kent@ecb.co.uk
