Jaydn Denly selected in England Men U19s World Cup squad

Kent’s Jaydn Denly has been named in ECB’s 15-player Young Lions squad that will travel to next month’s ICC Men’s U19s World Cup in South Africa.

A graduate of the Kent Cricket Academy, Denly made his first-team debut at the Kia Oval against Surrey in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup this year. He signed his first rookie contract with the Club last month.

The all-rounder recently featured in England U19s’ Youth ODI tour to India in November.

Durham batter Ben McKinney will captain the team, which has been drawn in Group B alongside the hosts South Africa, West Indies and Scotland.
