Kent name strong second XI squad for Surrey T20 matches at Mote Park

Kent have named a strong second XI side to play two T20 matches against Surrey at Mote Park in Maidstone on Tuesday.

Three players who played for the Spitfires in Friday’s 20-over triumph over Sussex Sharks are in the squad,

Batsman Alex Blake and death bowlers Mitch Claydon and David Griffiths will get the chance to hone their skills before Friday's trip to Southampton to face Hampshire in the NatWest T20 Blast.

The squad also features England Under-19 ‘keeper Ryan Davies, all-rounder Adam Ball, spinner Imran Qayyum and paceman Matt Hunn.

Academy scholar Piers Richardson is included with South African triallists Sean Dickson and Bradley Dial, Australian batsman Nick Selman and Bexley bowler Jasdev Bassan.
