Kent will have a fifth representative in the England Women's squad at the World T20 in India after Laura Marsh was called up to replace Danielle Hazell, who has withdrawn from the tournament with injury.

Marsh joins Kent colleagues Charlotte Edwards, Tammy Beaumont, Tash Farrant and Lydia Greenway in the 15-player squad.

England Women’s Head Coach Mark Robinson said:“This is obviously very disappointing news for Danielle. She was an important component of the bowling attack, especially given her excellent current form and the conditions here in India, but we are fortunate to have such a talented and experienced replacement in Laura Marsh.

"We are looking forward to welcoming Laura into the squad later in the week.”

Marsh will join up with the squad in Chennai, in time for England’s fourth and final ICC Women’s World Twenty20 group match against Pakistan at the MA Chidambaram Stadiumon Sunday 27March.
