Parnell returns to Kent for Twenty20 Cup Finals Day

KENT County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that South African fast-bowler Wayne Parnell will play at this year“s Twenty20 Cup Finals Day.

The highly rated 20-year-old left-arm bowler returns to South Africa after the LV County Championship match with Derbyshire, at Canterbury, but the Cricket Board of South Africa has given clearance for him to play at Edgbaston.

Commenting on Parnell“s return, Director of Cricket Graham Ford said: “This is great news for the Club. We are delighted to be able to bring Wayne back because he made such a big impact in our quarter-final win over Durham Dynamos.

I would like to thank Mickey Arthur, and the SACB, for allowing him to return. I“m sure that he will play a key role at Twenty20 Cup Finals Day.”
