Kent stars attend VIP launch event of Matches Canterbury

Kent Cricket players & staff were in attendance as Matches Sports Bar & Social opened its doors for the first time in Canterbury.

Located in Butchery Lane in the centre of the city the Club calls home, this is Kent-based Matches’ second location after successfully opening a Sports Bar & Social in Ashford.

Matt Walker, Jack Leaning, Matt Parkinson & new Club Captain, Daniel Bell-Drummond, sampled Matches Canterbury’s food offerings before several inter-Club shuffleboard matches in Matches’ games floor, which also includes cashless pool tables, games consoles & interactive dart boards.

Canterbury’s ‘Cathedral of Sport’ is redefining how you watch, play, party, eat & drink with 27 Ultra HD screens for the ultimate sports viewing experience alongside a lineup of entertainment also including karaoke and more.

Kent memorabilia is located throughout Matches Canterbury, with a Kent Spitfires Vitality Blast shirt signed by the entire squad sitting pride of place on the wall.
