West End stars to return to The Spitfire Ground in 2023

Outdoor concerts return to The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence for a bumper weekend of entertainment on 21 and 22 July 2023, with two stunning tribute acts, featuring stars of London’s West End.
Kent Cricket is pleased to announce the return of stars from London’s West End this July as ‘An Evening of Queen’ and ‘An Evening of Abba’ are set to entertain crowds at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July.
Following two sell-out ‘Evening of Queen’ shows in 2019, the Club is delighted to welcome back a talented cast to provide a huge weekend of entertainment in Kent.
Friday 21 July will see a dazzling collection of performers, including former stars from the smash hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’, come together to present a tribute to one of the world’s greatest rock bands, supported by a phenomenal West End band and featuring dozens of hits from an astonishing back catalogue – a unique and stunning concert evening no Queen fan should miss!
The weekend’s entertainment will continue on Saturday 22 July, with West End stars, including former cast members from the extremely popular musical Mamma Mia! joining to perform a sensational concert of ABBA’s greatest hits, backed by a fabulous West End band and led by Mamma Mia’s former touring musical director Richard Weeden.
Kent Cricket’s Partners, Members and Ticket Bundle Holders will have access to an exclusive 24 hour priority window, which will open at 10:00 on Thursday 23 February.
Tickets for both unmissable shows go on sale at 10:00 on Friday 24 February,with ticket prices at just £27.50.
