Women’s shirt for 2015 revealed

Kent Women will wear the Samurai Sportswear Royal London One-Day Cup shirt in 2015.

The logo of Major Sponsor Canterbury Christ Church University will appear on the playing and training shirts for the Kent Cricket Women's squad this season as part of the recently renewed partnership.

Kent bowler and Christ Church Sport Scholar Jenni Jackson was the first player to wear the new shirt at the club's media day earlier this month.

"I really like the kit as it's the one the Men’s team wore on the way to the semi-finals last year.

"We used to play all our games in whites so it's great that we can wear a few more colourful kits and each player will be able to choose their own squad number. I have chosen the number 11, my lucky number since I was a kid."

The team begins their campaign with two home fixtures at The County Ground, Beckenham on Sunday 3 May and Bank Holiday Monday 4 May against Yorkshire and Sussex respectively.

Next up is another double-header at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Sunday 24 and Bank Holiday Monday 25 May against Lancashire and Nottinghamshire.

Entry to Kent Women's games is included in all Memberships and costs £5 for non-members, entry is free under 16s.
