Beaumont ton as England square series

Kent captain Tammy Beaumont hit her fourth one-day international century as England compiled their second highest ever total against South Africa to win the second Royal London ODI at Hove.

Sharing a 156-run stand with Sarah Taylor (118) for the second wicket, the hosts scored 331-6 before sealing a 69-run victory to set up a decisive final ODI at The Spitfire Ground on Friday.

The 27-year-old Dover-born opener hit twelve fours and a six before Heather Knight, Danni Wyatt and Katharine Brunt scored at more than a run a ball.

Kent colleague Laura Marsh (2/53) struck in successive overs with her off-spin with Lancashire slow left-armer Sophie Ecclestone taking 3/54.

The series decider will take place at The Spitfire Ground on Friday (15 June) at 2pm.
