Kent Women aim to Maintain Unbeaten Record against Nottinghamshire

With four wins, and one cancelled match, in the opening five rounds of the Royal London Women’s One Day Cup, Kent are in a strong position on the points table. Their 72 points has them clear of a the chasing pack, lead by Nottinghamshire, who are equal second on 59 points with last week’s opposition Sussex. Surrey is one point further back on 58 with then an appreciable drop to Berkshire on 29 points.

Sunday’s match, against Nottinghamshire, will in effect be the second week in a row where Kent will play in a top of the table clash. With only two more rounds left in the competition a win will put them in a very strong position to regain their title, lost in 2013 to Sussex. Team Coach, Stuart Eddicott, commented that, ‘Notts are a good side so we cannot be complacent, we need to be at our best. '
