Billings in England ODI squad to travel to Australia

Kent Men’s Captain Sam Billings is included in England’s squad for the three-match ODI series against Australia in November.

England Men’s selection panel have named a 15-strong squad to travel to the Southern Hemisphere after the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Right-hander Billings currently has 25 ODI appearances to his name for England, averaging 33.72 with a top score of 118 against the Australians at Emirates Old Trafford in September 2020.

From the current ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad, 11 players will remain in Australia when the series gets underway at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday 17 November.

The three-match series will be played over six days, with matches in Adelaide, Sydney and finishing in Melbourne on 22 November.

Billings is already schedule to be in Australia ahead of the latest edition of the KFC Big Bash League, after being drafted by Brisbane Heat.
